An event on "The Legal Aspects of the Issue of Missing Persons in Cyprus" is organized on Tuesday 05 September 2023 at the Municipal Museum of Ayia Napa "Thalassa" at 6.30:XNUMX p.m. by the Bar Associations of Famagusta and Kyrenia in collaboration with Hippasus Publications, on the occasion of the publication of Maria Karefyllidou-Ioannou's book "Looking for Traces".

The event will be welcomed by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettos, the President of the Famagusta Bar Association, Mr. Stavros Mavrommatis and the President of the Kyrenia Bar Association, Mr. Nikolas Konstantinidis

The main speakers of the event are the late Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Associate Professor of International Law and Foreign Policy at Panteion University, Mr. Angelos Syrigos and Mr. Stelios Perrakis, Emeritus Professor of International and European Institutions, former Vice Chancellor of Panteion University, Former Ambassador – Permanent Representative of Greece to the Council of Europe.

The event, which is under the auspices of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, will close with a speech by the author of the book "Looking for Traces", Ms. Maria Karefyllidou-Ioannou.
