One of the most popular children's… Maybe few people know, but it was a Japanese production, which was filmed in 1980 and screened in more than 150 countries around the world. It premiered on Greek television in October 1983 and ended in April 1984, presenting in 52 half-hour episodes the story of little Niels Holgerson, who turned the world on a goose.

This children's series was based on the fairy tale by Swedish author Selma Lagerlef, with the original title "Nils Holgerssons underbar a resa genom Sverige" which was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1909. In fact, the Swedish government printed the figure of Niels on a goose and depicted it on the 20 kroner banknote.

The case

The story is about the adventures of Niels Holgerson, who liked to torture animals and torment people. But one day he overdid it by playing a nasty game on a dwarf. Then the dwarf with a spell, transformed him into a dwarf who spoke the language of animals and all the animals on the farm sought revenge for their abuse, chasing him.

The legendary children's series that was loved by both girls and boys! She was different from the other cartoons, while she wrote TV history in as many countries in the world as she was shown. Candy Candy is the "girl" of our childhood and her adventures brought us bittersweet feelings. Feelings of joy, sadness, anger, love. Laughter and crying. Because let's face it, pretty much everyone has cried over the sad stories of the series.

Candy Candy White Ardley, with emerald green eyes, long curly blond hair and freckles, first appeared in April 1975 in a novel by Japanese author Kyoko Mizuki. When Mizuki collaborated with manga illustrator Yumiko Igarashi, the Japanese magazine Nakayoshi showed interest in Candy Candy. The series, 151 episodes, is based on the eponymous manga as well as the three novels by Kyoko Mizuki starring Candy. The manga was released in Greece from 1986 to 1989, by Tatar Publications.

The series premiered on ERT in 1984 and lasted until 1987, experiencing incredible television success. It continued to be broadcast on ERT 3, while in 1989 it was broadcast again on a daily basis by ERT1, experiencing success again. In the mid-1990s, the series aired again with a new -third- compilation, until the 50th episode, on private television.

Case

The heroine grew up in an orphanage, Pony House, near Lake Michigan, USA. in the early 20th century. He was found when he was a baby in a basket, with his girlfriend Annie. At the age of 10, he is forced to divorce Annie, who is adopted by the Brightons, a wealthy family. The two begin communicating by mail, until Annie's stepmother forbids it. After this news, Candy runs crying on the hill behind the Pony house where she meets a boy in Scottish clothes. Candy will call him the prince of the hill and will think of him for the rest of her life.

We do not know if the term is probable, but Fru Fru was a controversial child character. Either you would love him or he would break your nerves. In his case the average situation probably did not exist.

The character was created in 1961 by German children's book author Ellis Kaut and first appeared on Bavarian radio in 1962. The last episode aired in 1973. His great radio success led him to television. The series was Austro-Hungarian and aired on German television until 2003. The first episode aired in the 1982-1983 season (26 episodes) and the second in 1988-1989 (52 episodes) lasting 1987 minutes each. It was broadcast in Greece in 1 by ERTXNUMX.

The case

Fru Fru was an elf with tufted red hair who talked non-stop (the tedious part of the case), while constantly making scandals. It was all questions and he was constantly causing trouble to the furniture maker Eder, (his grandfather called him) in whose house he lived.

It is invisible to humans and becomes visible as soon as it touches something made by human hands. As it pierces the carpentry shop it presses on spilled glue and thus loses its privilege of being invisible. He becomes visible from now on, but only to the man who saw him, that is, the old carpenter.

Although it was a favorite children's series that enjoyed so much television success worldwide, it went so far as to become the mascot of Fair Play at the World Cup in Spain (1982) and Mexico (1986)! Sport Billy, the brunette boy with the suitcase that came out of the car (and all the kids dreamed of having the same one) was first shown in West Germany in 1979. Then in 1982 in America and on NBC. It consisted of 26 episodes divided into two seasons that were shown with great success in England, Austria, Greece, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Cyprus, Peru, Mexico, Spain and others.

It came to our country for the first time in April 1981 from YENED and was completed at the end of September of the same year. But, since then it has been shown many times in repetition for this and many have in mind that it played on TV for a long time.

Sport Billy comes from the planet Olympus which is located on the other side of the sun and looks like Earth. His favorite sport is football. He always has with him his yellow suitcase, which contains various tools according to his needs (from tennis racket to car).

Sport Billy goes to Earth to promote sports and teamwork. His deadly enemy is Queen Vanda and her assistant Said. Vanda intends to destroy all the sports in the galaxy.

He has two helpers, Lily and his dog Willie. In each episode, they travel through time with their timeless ship that looks like a rocket and saves a sport from Vanda's diabolical plans.

Also, a very popular children's game with an incredible image and graphics for that time. The series premiered on Japanese television on January 6, 1974 and consisted of 52 weekly episodes. It was then screened dubbed in dozens of countries, launching the careers of Isao Takahata (directing) and Hayao Miyazaki (landscape design), who in the following decades would gain worldwide fame for adapting classic works of children's literature into animation.

In Greece, Sweet Heidi was screened in 52 episodes from September 1982 to November 1982. It is based on the classic children's novel of the same name by the Swiss author Johanna Spyri, which has been translated into more than 50 languages. It was also so successful that the area where Heidi's adventures took place is now called Heidiland and is visited by many travelers every year.

Heidi was one year old when her parents died. At the age of 5, Dete's aunt takes her to live with her grandfather, who lives in the mountains alone with his goats. Together with his grandfather and little shepherd Peter, he discovers the beauties of nature and learns to communicate with animals. Although the two girls develop a brotherly friendship, Heidi always misses life in the village and so returns to the Alps.

"Open this fairytale box to be heard, your imagination and our music take you to the ends of the Earth…" are the first lyrics of the song that was heard in the beginning titles of this children's series. It was shown in the TV seasons 1987 to 1988 by ERT and the idea and the script were by Ivi Sofianou, its music was written by the composer Elias Andriopoulos and the lyrics by the lyricist Michalis Bourboulis. The series was a huge success during its first screening.

Apart from Pavlos Kontogiannidis, Faidonas Sofianos, Pavlos Haikalis and Ivi Sofianou who gave their voices to the four main figures, other well-known actors participated, such as Joyce Eweidi, Efi Papatheodorou, Rassos Kapouzon Vassilas Efi Economou.

Paraskevoula (Paraskevi Georgiadou) had a large box hidden under her bed. Inside this box was a magical world full of fairy tales. In it there are four figures, Rouchlas (Pavlos Kontogiannidis), Fiogos (Faidon Sofianos), Sebastianos (Pavlos Haikalis) and Melia (Ivi Sofianou), who were telling stories from all over the world.

"It is a distant city, a fantastic state, where only fruits and vegetables live, without people only! It is only one the dream fruit. It is only one and there is no other. " Really, who does not remember these lyrics of everyone's favorite Frutopia by Eugenios Trivizas?

This is a Greek comic book series created in 1983 by the writer of children's literature Eugenios Trivizas and the cartoonist Nikos Maroulakis. It was completed in three cycles with 50 issues. It was transferred to television in 1985 by the Sofianou family, visualized with puppetry puppets and being a great success. The series began airing on November 8, 1985, on the ERT channel. Despite the fact that the Frutopia finale was never shown, due to cuts in the program zone he was playing, they played 3 rounds with a total of 47 episodes, which in the following years were repeated.

Case

The sudden disappearance of Manolis the greengrocer sows panic among the greengrocers of the country, who flee en masse, fearing the same fate, followed by the people. The event marks the beginning of a new era for the fruits and vegetables that remain in Frutopia, which declare their independence, elect their own representatives to various offices and decide to ban all greengrocers from entering the country, thus ending enslavement. The only person in Froutopia is the demonic journalist Pikos Apikos, who is called to investigate the mystery of the disappearance of Manolis the greengrocer, as an envoy of the newspaper Treha Gyreve.

ERT also had pedagogical purposes and proved it with one of the best series on state educational television! "Once Upon a Time It Was Man" had educators, anthropologists and historians. It was created by Albert Barrier, a French cartoonist and founder of the production company Procidis.

The first episode began with the creation of the Earth and in the remaining episodes the course of humanity and the difficulties that people faced from time to time were recorded. Children had the opportunity to learn how primitive people lived, the Romans, the Vikings and to better understand the world. The first episode aired in March 1979 and two years later the last episode aired in France.

ERT is compiling the famous animated series of 1983 (Inspecteur Gadget) and started its broadcast in 1985. Thursdays and Saturdays belonged to the crazy inspector, who kept us company in Greek for 86 episodes, lasting 30 ′. In the first compilation, the voice of Policeman Sainis was lent by Tassos Kostis, who was also the inspirer of the Greek title: "Sainis". Leta Mousouti lends her voice to Penny, Christos Parlas to Dr. Klaou, and Christos Katsigiannis to Chief Quibby.
