A few 24 hours ago we learned that "Joker: Folie à Deux", as the film will be titled, will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024, which means we will have to wait 2 more years to see the next chapter of the DC anti-hero story on the big screen.
Lady Gaga announced yesterday that she will indeed be starring as a version of Harley Quinn in the film, and she did it all by uploading a short video on her twitter which shows Phoenix's silhouette and hers dancing to the tune of 'Cheek to Cheek' ”, before the release date drops.
The classic track does not seem like a random choice. Lady Gaga has performed it with Tony Bennett on their self-titled album since 2014.
The heroine of the DC universe is the psychiatrist of Arkham Asylum, who falls in love with the Joker and becomes his accomplice.
