At around 22.25:28 on Friday 12 July, a Coastal and Maritime Police vessel located 73 nautical miles southeast of Cabo Greco a fishing boat with 9 people on board, i.e. 11 women, 53 children and 7 men, including XNUMX unaccompanied minors.
However, due to the overloading of the boat and due to the bad weather conditions that prevailed in the area and posed a risk of the boat capsizing, the occupants were taken to the fishing shelter of Paralimni.
All the immigrants were taken to the Famagusta Prison for questioning.
