KEPA Famagusta: The established scholarships were given to students

That's it Saturday 6 November 2021 in a modest and brief meeting at KEPA in Paralimni, offered to Eligible students are scholarships / aids for the academic year 2021-2022.

The scholarships of the institution are granted to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the province of Famagusta, who study in recognized institutions in Cyprus and abroad, based on academic, economic and social criteria.

More than 40 students from our province received this financial support from the Scholarship Fund this year to continue their studies.

Initially, the President of KEPA Dimitris PapaEvelthontos informed the attendees about the activities and actions of KEPA.

Then the vice president Maria Kyprianou PapaEvelthontos wished the students good success in their studies.

The general manager Mr. Thomas Anastasiou and the deputy director Mr. Kiki Siga handed over the checks to the beneficiaries.

The scholarships have been offered since 1998 on the initiative of the late Fr. Evelthon Charalambous.

Some fellow citizens and friends contributed to that effort. In recent years, the contribution of the AG Foundation is very important. Leventi, of the PapaEvelthontos family and various companies and individuals who love education and contribute to the specific Scholarship fund.

The central spirit of the Charitable Foundation of voluntary contribution, developed by its founder, is the selfless contribution to our fellow human beings and to society in general. The The main activities of the foundation are the provision of specialized support programs to vulnerable groups of the population, the promotion of culture, the strengthening of education, and the development of missionary work. All the activities of KEPA are carried out thanks to the action and the offer of a large number of volunteers and employees.
