Today's post by the well-known lawyer Andreas Pittatzis was full of messages and criticisms for the handling of the free province of Famagusta.

The lawyer from Paralimni with today's post on social media sent in all directions loud messages about the operation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Famagusta and its relationship with the free province.

According to Mr. Pittatzis, the Board of Directors of EVEA consists of by people who live and have their businesses in Limassol, while nevertheless institutionally representing the inhabitants of the free province of Famagusta, thus asking the question who they represent.

The well-known lawyer then sends messages in all directions for the next elections, projecting the dilemma to the residents of free Famagusta whether, in his opinion, they want to get what they are entitled to or whether they will continue the 43 years of devaluation.

The post provoked, in fact, various reactions with many comments being written, criticizing, in fact, the current and previous Governments for the projects they have implemented in the province of Famagusta but also for the fact of transferring the government departments from Larnaca to free Famagusta. .

See the post by Andreas Pittatziis:

"History is written through struggles, not politics. Chambers are the official body of entrepreneurs. The Chamber of Famagusta (EVEA) is based in L.indirect. Its Council is made up of people who live and do business in Limassol. Institutionally, however, they participate in the Parliament, in the councils for local plans, in the CCCI, in the business missions of the state, representing us, the Province of Famagusta. That is, someone whose interests are in Limassol decides for us, without us. Whose interests will it promote? Ours; Or his own? Of the Province of Famagusta? Or Limassol?

5,5 billion in investments have been made in the last few years. About 3% of all this money ended up in the Province of Famagusta. Out of ALL the business missions of the state made with the chambers, businessmen from the free Province of Famagusta did NOT participate.

History is written through struggle, not politics. The invisible forces that have wanted to guard us for 43 years, deny us a voice. The state until today (over time), allows them.

History is written through struggles, not politics. That is why the time of politicians is over, but the elections are approaching. Either we will get what we are entitled to as a Province, or we will have to be measured and confronted… ”
