A fatal accident with the victim Mattheos Bisiaras, 37 years old from Avgorou took place last night.
According to the Police, the accident happened around 8.30 on Tuesday night, on the Avgorou - Liopetri road, where the 37-year-old was driving his car, heading towards Liopetri. At a point on the road, under circumstances being investigated, the 37-year-old allegedly lost control of his vehicle, which deviated from its course and overturned in a field on the left side of the road.
In vain, his relatives were looking for the 37-year-old, who was finally located by a relative around 11.30 at night.
Police and an ambulance were immediately notified and transported him to the TAEP of the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the doctors on duty confirmed his death.
The Famagusta Traffic Police is investigating the causes of the new fatal car accident.
