The fire seems to have started from outside last night in an apartment in Ayia Napa, which suffered extensive damage.
According to the Fire Department from the investigations carried out since the morning, it seems that the fire did not start from an area inside the apartment but from outside.
The investigations of the Fire and Electromechanical Service, which are carried out in collaboration with the Police, continue in order to determine exactly where the fire started and how it was managed to enter the apartment.

It is recalled that shortly after 19.30 pm yesterday, a call was received for a fire in an apartment on the first floor of a one-storey complex of apartments and shops on Tefkrou Anthia Street in Ayia Napa.
The Famagusta Fire Station responded with four fire trucks and the fire was brought under control an hour later.
The fire caused extensive damage to the apartment and the fire spread and caused damage to the stairwell. The brewery located on the ground floor below the apartment was slightly damaged.
The apartment was inhabited by three foreigners of Asian origin who were absent when the fire started.
Due to the fire, the occupants of other apartments were evacuated without any danger.
