Pernera beach in Ayia Napa is fully upgraded both in terms of quality and aesthetics from today after the implementation by the Municipality of Ayia Napa of a series of important projects as well as the purchase of new equipment.
On this beach, the land has been cleaned and landscaped, sanitary facilities have been erected, luxury wooden sunbeds and wicker umbrellas have been installed, which go hand in hand with the surrounding area, parking lots have been created, open space with outdoor facilities. and facilities for public service.
The renovated beach was visited today accompanied by the Mayor of Ayia Napa Mr. Christos Zannettou, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Mr. Savvas Perdios as the implementation of these projects and the purchase of equipment has been subsidized a part of the total cost by the Ministry of Tourism. of the National Tourism Strategy 2030 and the long-term goals of the Ministry for upgrading the tourism product of our country.
In his statements, the Deputy Minister of Tourism expressed his admiration and praised the Mayor for the excellent result. This beach, he said, proves the goals of the State Department, which are none other than to change and improve the product of our country. He mentioned a project, which has fantastic landscaping, its infrastructure, high-quality gym equipment, umbrellas and cots.
It is a dream of the State Department, he pointed out, which is part of the National Tourism Strategy for quality upgrading of beaches and expressed his satisfaction that the Municipality of Ayia Napa was one of the first Municipalities to join the project and that so much work has been done in time to today the Mayor to announce the opening of the beach in time for the three days of the Flood.

On his part, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, after thanking the Deputy Minister for his presence, support and for the plans announced for upgrading our beaches with quality equipment, stressed that "our goal and purpose is to upgrade our tourist product with quality aiming to the complete upgrade of both the world that we attract and to give in return to the world that visits us what it expects ".
This beach is said to be operational today with its new equipment, a beach as he said which will soon host the Underwater Museum and is expected to be ready by the end of July. "Through the strategy of national development of Tourism and in line with the objectives of the State Department," he added, "we will implement these quality actions because we aim not only at the Summer period but they will further support the full-time operation of the tourism industry."
