The announcement of the Municipality of Ayia Napa
On the initiative of the Deputy Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Antonis Christou, we have succeeded in the Open Paramotor races to be held in Ayia Napa.
The races will take place between 6 and 12 October 2021 and will involve 70 pilots from around the world. They will also participate with night flights during the 16th Medieval Festival that will take place from 9-16 October 2021.
We have set a goal in 2022 to hold the races again in Ayia Napa and the number of participating pilots to be 160. Undoubtedly the holding of the races is an important initiative and will stimulate our tourist season.
The meetings took place between Ayia Napa Deputy Mayor and paramotor champion Bruno Vezzoli.
