The contracts for undergrounding and installation of street lighting on Asprovounou Street, in Ayia Napa, were recently signed.
A written announcement of the Municipality of Ayia Napa states that "the contracts were signed between the Mayor Christos Zannettos and Kyriakos Kapais, the Contractor Company PI.KA. Road Contracting Ltd. With the signing of the contracts, Ayia Napa proceeds with the implementation and the completion of the project Pavement Construction in the area of Asprovounou, a project which will increase the safety of the residents, especially in the evening ".
The goal of the Municipality is added "to implement projects that will make Ayia Napa a modern and functional city for both its residents and visitors".
It is noted that "according to the terms of the agreement, the project is expected to begin on September 1, 2021 and the deadline for completion of the works for the undergrounding and installation of street lighting has been set at nine months. The cost of the project amounts to around 71 thousand euros, including VAT ".
