Ayia Napa: Frame-by-frame the rescue of a woman on the beach "Island" (VIDEO)

A woman was rescued today, Sunday, July 8, at around 15:30 in the afternoon by members of the Famagusta Lifeguard Club "Evagoras" who were patrolling the "Island" beach in Ayia Napa.

According to information, a foreign woman aged 50, due to the fatigue she felt during her stay in the water as well as the fact that she did not know how to swim, led her to call for help.

Immediately, members of the Famagusta Lifeguard Club "Evagoras" intervened and entered the water and following the prescribed procedures helped the woman to get out of the water.

According to information, her health condition is normal and she did not need to call an ambulance.

The incident demonstrates once again that lifeguards are on alert for the daily incidents recorded on our beaches, ensuring the safety of visitors and bathers.
