A new fatality occurred yesterday Wednesday (4/5/2022) at 5:30, approximately, in the afternoon in Ayia Napa with the victim being a 46-year-old visitor from Sweden.

Specifically, according to the Police, around 5:30 in the afternoon on Nisi Avenue in Ayia Napa, a vehicle stopped at a pedestrian crossing to allow a woman who was a pedestrian to cross the road.

This is the 46-year-old CAMILLA CHRISTINA PAMDHL from Sweden, who at the time she was crossing the road, a rental vehicle, while she saw the car that had stopped to cross the road, overtook it, resulting in being beaten and fatally injured.

The woman was taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the doctors on duty confirmed her death.

It seems that the buggy was rented to two young tourists, who after beating the woman then left the scene.

The baggy and the two people are wanted by the Police and the case is being investigated by the Famagusta Police Department.
