As of today, the Argo of Ayia Napa is ready to set sail and travel the visitors of the Sculpture Park in new artistic quests.
The impressive work that is now one of the largest sculptures on our island, has been installed on the hill that connects the two unique parks of Ayia Napa, the Outdoor Sculpture and the Cactus and Succulents Park.
The work of the Swiss artist Thierry Lauwers, was created in the first phase of the 6th Ayia Napa Sculpture Symposium which is currently in progress and is expected to be a reference point for the region.
On the occasion of the completion of the project, the Mayor of Ayia Napa announced today as a citizen of the year the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Sculpture Symposium Kiki Konstantinos who was the most important inspirer of the two parks in the tourist city.
