The hoteliers of Famagusta celebrate the golf of Agia Napa (VIDEO)

Everything is ready for the construction of a golf course within the Natura area in Cape Greco. The projects will start as soon as the environmental study submitted yesterday to the Department of Environment is approved.

The Department of Environment is expected to judge the licensing of the golf course in the area of ​​Cape Greco.

The project under approval, named "Ayia Napa Forest Golf", will be located on public and private land in the locations "Mazeri tou Koukou" and "Aetopetres-Perneres" within the administrative boundaries of Ayia Napa and Paralimni and will occupy an area of ​​more than one million square meters.

Among other things, the project includes an international standard eighteen-hole golf course, ancillary facilities with parking spaces, a ten-storey five-star hotel with a capacity of five hundred beds, commercial developments with shops and a multipurpose hall, as well as residential development:

For their part, the hoteliers of the region welcome the new development that is coming to be added to the existing tourist product.

In his statements to Sigma's camera, the President of PASYXE Famagusta, Doros Takkas stated: "We are sure that it will offer in the upgrade of the product and at the same time it will offer in the upgrade of the form of tourism that our region will receive and at the same time it will help in the extension of the season which is the main problem facing the province of Famagusta."

It is expected that with its operation the stadium will host international golf games. It is worth noting that the decision to build the stadium was taken by the Council of Ministers at its meeting last February in the framework of the policy to make our country a more attractive destination, through the development of the quality of the tourist product.
