An Italian regular visitor to Ayia Napa was named the city's "Ambassador of Tourism" on the occasion of his 36th visit
This is Giovanni Mariani, who to date has made 36 visits to Ayia Napa for vacation purposes.
In a ceremony held today, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the Municipal Hall, the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Ms. On behalf of the Mayor, Mr. Christos Zannettos, Maria Tofini Tsantila honored the Italian regular visitor with a commemorative plaque and the "Ambassador of Tourism" emblem.
Mrs. Tofini expressed her warm thanks to him for his numerous visits and for the special preference he has shown over the years for Ayia Napa, pointing out at the same time that the Municipality no longer considers him just a visitor but a citizen of Ayia Napa.
