Ayia Napa "sank" again this year from the thousands of visitors who came for the Easter holidays, in order to live up close the customs and traditions that are revived in a unique way and make it special throughout Cyprus, says in today's thank you announcement the Mayor Giannis Karousos and the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
The announcement states that visitors from every corner of Cyprus starting from Good Friday night, in the procession of the epitaph and then on Holy Saturday to hear the Good Word where the Gospel of the Resurrection was read and chanted "Christ is Risen" as well as at events on Easter Sunday and Monday, which were crowned with great success, created an incredible sea of people in the Central Square of the Monastery.
The Mayor Mr. Giannis Karousos and the Members of the Municipal Council of Ayia Napa publicly expressed their heartfelt thanks through the announcement, to all those who attended and honored Ayia Napa with their presence.
