The Municipality of Deryneia informs the citizens that in a wide meeting held today at the Town Hall of Deryneia and which was attended by the Contractor of the Town Planning Project of Stadiou Street (Derynia - Sotira road), representatives of the Department of Public Works, the Department of Water Development, the Sewerage Board Paralimniou, the Mayor, members of the Municipal Council and the Service of the Municipality of Deryneia, discussed the situation created by the temporary arrangement of the supply of drinking water, in the context of the replacement of the old asbestos pipe.
The Municipality of Deryneia in the previous three days made every possible effort to solve the problem with improvement actions in the network, which according to the current indications are expected to bring positive results.
At the meeting it was decided that every possible effort should be made by all the Agencies to improve the situation by installing two additional temporary pipelines, in an effort to increase the flow of water to the entire area of the Municipality and cover the additional needs that arose.
