The Board of the Renaissance of Deryneia expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Andreas Karaiskou. The late, father of the member of the Association and our volleyball player, Christos Karaiskou, was highly esteemed among the family of the Renaissance. Andreas was an athlete of the football team of our Association in the 60's. He was distinguished for his speed and the explosiveness of his movements and that is why he was established in the "out right" position. He was a member of the Board of Directors from 1987 until 1989. Andreas, growing up in the large family of Karaiskos, a native of the Renaissance education, was distinguished for his gentleness of character, devotion and love for the Association.
The Board of Directors, in an appreciation of the offer of the late Andreas, decided that a delegation of the Board of Directors attend the funeral and lay a wreath. The building of the Association will remain closed throughout the funeral.
