The list of the dead of the family of Renaissance Deryneia, unfortunately continues to grow. The day before yesterday, at the age of seventy-six, another distinguished member of our Association passed away.
Christakis Christou (grandfather of the current goalkeeper, Christakis Mastrou), was a football player of our team, at a time when the love for the jersey was the only motivation for footballers.
The deceased was one of the most charismatic goalkeepers our Club has ever produced.
Christakis was a member of our Association until his death, a regular visitor to the building and a regular volunteer at the events of our Association.
The Board of the Renaissance of Deryneia expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. He was highly esteemed among the athletic family of the Renaissance.
