An improvised nursery for the cultivation of cannabis plants, in the parking lot of a house, was detected yesterday by the Police, in the province of Famagusta. The members of YKAN proceeded to arrest the two occupants of the house, as well as confiscate a quantity of cannabis, weighing approximately 700 grams.
Specifically, around 4.30 p.m. yesterday, members of YKAN (Provincial Echelon of Famagusta) carried out an investigation in a house in the province of Famagusta, where a man and a woman, aged 58, live. During the search of the residence, a grinder with traces of cannabis, a precision scale and a small amount of cannabis were located and seized.
An improvised cannabis nursery was found in the parking lot of the house, as well as a quantity of cannabis, weighing approximately 700 grams, which was confiscated. The equipment of the makeshift nursery was also confiscated.
The two occupants of the house were arrested for an unprovoked crime and taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
