The cooperation between Greece and Cyprus will increase the cross-border cooperation of the partners for tourism issues, contributing to the strengthening of the extroversion, especially in productive activities that present competitive perspectives and interconnections in the productive fabric of the cross-border region.

Also, the creation of appropriate tools and the use of internet applications to provide information with accessible tourist accommodation / museums / facilities are expected to improve the image of the tourist product of the 2 Municipalities.

Accessible tourism for the disabled and the elderly is an important parameter, which is integrated in the planning of any tourism initiative because it contributes to the extension of the tourist season, the upgrading of the quality of the tourism product and the attraction of new lucrative markets. Attracting disabled tourism is a solution to the timeless problems of Mediterranean tourist resorts.
