The police investigations into the events that tarnished the beginning of the school year at Paralimni High School are in full swing. TAE Famagusta investigators have so far managed to identify 20 people who are expected to appear in court.
As mentioned in Famagusta.News the Police Spokesperson, Christos Andreou, "From the examinations carried out so far by the Police, 20 persons have been identified and interrogated, all students, as suspects for the commission of the crimes that had been committed on September 14 at the Paralimni High School. The examinations, he said, have not yet been completed, and are continuing at an intensive pace, in order to identify all those involved. At the end of the examinations, the criminal files are expected to be submitted before a court. "
With the completion of the investigation, the criminal files are expected to be brought before the court, with the possibility that those involved may face up to imprisonment.
According to the case file, those involved face charges of, among other things, misconduct, theft and illegal possession of explosives.
In fact, in today's meeting with the Minister of Justice, the President of the Party for Animals, asked for an increase in the penalties for those who mistreat animals.
As he said Kyriakos Kyriakou, "This thing cannot continue and no one who has killed an animal - and we also saw the diversions in Paralimni - can be punished or given three months in prison and suspended."
