The possibility of damage to the car in which a fire broke out in the early hours of the morning in the area of Cape Greco was ruled out.

According to the Police, around 04.20 in the morning, information was received about a fire in the two cars that were parked outside the house of their owner, on Protaras Avenue.
The Fire Service rushed to the scene, members of which managed to extinguish the fire, which, however, completely destroyed the two vehicles, the value of which amounts to 19 thousand euros.
The scene was cordoned off and today members of the Police, the Fire Brigade and the Electromechanical Service went to the area and started investigations to determine the causes of the fire.
According to the Fire Service, the Electromechanical Service investigated the possibility of damage to the car in which the fire first started and then spread to the second vehicle.
The Fire Department collected some samples which were given to the Police to be sent for the necessary scientific examinations.
