Tragedy in Agia Thekla with two dead in a house (exclusive photos)

Tragedy occurred early in the afternoon at a house in Agia Thekla.

Two people were tragically killed, a 60-year-old man from England and a 52-year-old woman from Russia.

According to exclusive information of Famagusta.News, a friend of the couple informed the Police that the 60-year-old and the 52-year-old had not given signs of life in the last two days.

Members of the Police and the Fire Brigade went to the house where the couple lived. There they found that they were lying dead.

At first glance, the death of the two is attributed to fumes from a gas heater they had in the living room of the house.

For the time being, the Police have ruled out the possibility of criminal action, however, the investigations continue.

Medical examiner Angeliki Papeta is also expected at the scene to perform an autopsy.

The exact causes of the couple's death will be revealed from the autopsies on the bodies of the unfortunate aliens, which are expected to take place on Monday.
