The residents of the province of Famagusta and Larnaca were disturbed yesterday by flights of French fighters in the airspace of Cyprus.
The French Dassault Rafale type fighters were flying at low altitude and became visible on Monday afternoon in Sotira, Liopetri and Avgorou and therefore caused a disturbance to the residents since the phenomenon is not frequent at all.

GEEF issued late yesterday afternoon announcement in which he clarified that there is no cause for concern as the French fighters are participating in an aeronautical exercise and will be visible in the coming days.
