According to decisions that came to light, it seems that the Greek Parliament spent the amount of 16.753,88 euros, in order to meet the needs of the meetings of the Speaker of Parliament, the Vice Presidents and the standing committees in cafes and snacks.

According to the relevant decision posted on the website of Parliamentary Transparency, it appears that this amount was spent by Parliament for coffee, water and crackers, without specifying whether it is the annual expenditure or for another period of time.

Specifically, it is stated in a relevant document that the Parliament approved an expenditure of € 16.753,88 (€ 14.826,44 € + € 1.927,44 VAT) for coffees, water bottles and crackers served by the company that operates the Parliament canteen.

The 13 invoices were "cut" in October, November 2013 and January 2014.

Also, in the parliamentary transparency was “uploaded” a decision approving an amount of € 6.918,75 (€ 5.625,00 + € 1.293,75 VAT 23%) “for the supply of material for the needs of the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union ”.

This is an expense that concerns the purchase of 1500 bags of bags of the Greek presidency. Each one costs € 3,75.
