The 32nd Ayia Napa International Festival, one of the most popular festivals on our island, which has been established since 1985 and always takes place in the last week of September to coincide with the World Tourism Day, opens its gates today.
The events include dance groups from Russia and Crete, the St. Petersburg State Virtuoso Accordion Orchestra, the Guinness World Record for claiming the "sousta" dance next Sunday, while the concert with composer Stavatis Samavatos will take place.
The Festival ends next Sunday and all events will take place in the Central Square of Ayia Napa.

Unveiling of a sculpture "Creation of Ayia Napa - Generation of Kemitzides" by the sculptor Filippos Giapanis and presentation of the Genealogical Tree of Ayia Napa, by the late Andreas Hatzinikolas. The unveilings will be made by the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Theodosis Tsiolas.
