Residents of England diagnosed with coronavirus have no legal obligation to isolate themselves from today, as all restrictions are lifted following a decision by the Johnson government.
The government's "cohabitation plan" with COVID-19 based on the demonstration of individual responsibility by the citizens, although until April 1, an isolation recommendation is valid for the institutions.
Also, as of today, the obligation of daily diagnostic tests for the vaccinated people who come in contact with cases does not apply, nor the obligation of isolation for non-vaccinated people who are contacts of confirmed cases.
It also stops the extensive contact tracking program and the allowance for those who would have the obligation of isolation.
Boris Johnson said that "thanks to the efforts we have made as a country over the last two years, we can now tackle (the virus) in a very different way, going from government restrictions to personal responsibility."
