The nine forbidden places that man should not go

Snake IslandForbidden parts of the planetIlha da Queimada Grande, or Snake Island, is an island off the coast of Brazil that hosts a rare and incredibly deadly species of snake called the "golden viper".

It is estimated that there are one to five snakes per square meter of land (a demographic survey in the area has shown that these numbers are probably exaggerated, but there are definitely many snakes on the island).

Bothrops insularis is the scientific name for the extremely venomous snake, a species of viper in shades of yellow and brown. They are the most deadly snake species in the world, as its toxins kill humans in less than an hour.

The secret archives of the Vatican

Millions of people visit the Vatican in Rome every year, but there is at least one place that is strictly out of bounds. It is the "Vatican Secret Archives", a building where state documents and Vatican state correspondence are kept. They are the property of each Pope and upon his death or resignation, the property passes to the next Pope. Until the beginning of the 17th century they were in the library of the Vatican, but they were separated after the action of Pope Paul V in their own space with extremely limited access.

They remained inaccessible to outside scholars until 1881, when Pope Leo III allowed partial access to limited sections of the archive to outside scholars, an arrangement that has been in place ever since.

Applications for admission are accepted only to approved scholars of scientific interest and with sufficient research knowledge in an archive. In order to be accepted, they need a letter of recommendation from an academic or research institution or an expert historian. Undergraduate students are not accepted.

There are strict restrictions on access to the archive, which prohibits access to any material after 1939, and there is an entire section on personal relationships with cardinals that is prohibited from 1922 onwards.

Lascaux CaveForbidden parts of the planetAnother one of forbidden places is the Lascaux cave in France, which was discovered in 1940 and is one of the most important caves with Paleolithic frescoes, particularly distinguished not only in their number but also in their aesthetics. The cave, which they have called " Sistine Chapel of the murals ", opened to the public in 1948 and closed permanently after only 15 years, as alterations were observed mainly from the carbon dioxide produced by visitors. Although the Lascaux is now out of bounds for visitors, archaeologists can "copy" it, which began construction in 1970 in order to keep the original in its natural condition and be preserved.

Ulourou

Uluru, also known as Agers Rock, is a large sandstone monolith at the southern tip of the Northern Territory in central Australia. The monolith, which was a sacred place for the Anangu, the Aborigines of the region, has a height of 348 meters and a circumference of 9,4 kilometers.

The natural monument, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987, was permanently closed to the public in October 2019, as there was a great deal of controversy over tourists climbing the rock. Now tourists can visit the area (climbing is prohibited), and according to a legend, it is good to leave the area untouched, as a curse accompanies tourists who have collected stones from the area.

Area 51263 PROHIBITED PLACES, PlanetOne of forbidden places is Area 51, officially known as Lake Grumm or Homey Airport, which is a remote unit of Edwards Air Base. It is located in southern Nevada in the western United States, 133 km northwest of Las Vegas. Officially, the primary purpose of the base is undefined, but based on historical evidence, it is likely to support the development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems.

The intense secrecy surrounding the base is often the subject of various conspiracy theories and views of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). It has been used as an alien base in many American television shows and many Americans support this theory in real life. But there are some scientists who believe that on that basis the US government is building aircraft similar to UFOs.

Although the base has not been declared secret, all investigations and facts concerning Area 51 are confidential information. In July 2013, following a request submitted in 2005 by the FOIA, the CIA publicly acknowledged its existence for the first time by declassifying documents containing details of the history and purpose of the area 51.Room 39A secret organization called Room 39 has been operating in North Korea for many years. The purpose of the organization is to keep the public coffers at a good level for the current president of the country. The agency is estimated to generate revenues of between $ 500 million and $ 1 billion per year and may be involved in illegal activities such as counterfeiting, illicit substances and international insurance fraud.

Poveglia IslandForbidden parts of the planetOne of forbidden places of planet is the "haunted" island of Poveglia located near Venice, has no owners and is strictly forbidden to enter the area. Legend has it that more than 160.000 people were burned there during the "Black Death".

The island was used as a clinic in the outbreak of the "Black Death", the plague. In 1922 a psychiatric clinic was built there. The chief doctor tortured and slaughtered many of his patients before he went insane and committed suicide.

The island, in general, no one approaches… Even fishermen do not dare to cast their nets on the shores, for fear of collecting human bones!
