Like every other day, the experienced postman Keith Bourne handed out the letters he had in his bag on the streets of British Kent.

But when he put his hand in Emma Knell's mailbox, her dog, a bull terrier, grabbed it and cut off a finger.

At the recent trial, the judge did not share her side of the story and convicted her of her wild dog.

"I was throwing the letter", said the postman, "It did not fit well in the mailbox, so I pushed it through. And my dog ​​cut his finger, that happened. I was waiting for a verdict, because I did not see how she could defend herself. She is the owner of the dog, she is responsible for her dog ".

As for his adventure, he states: "It was very traumatic. I'm not so bad anymore, I have accepted it, since I have to go on with my life. I do not go through there anymore, but I remain a postman ".
