QAnon shaman jailed for 41 months for invading the Capitol

The self-proclaimed "shaman" of the QAnon conspiracy movement was sentenced today by a federal court in Washington to 41 months in prison for his role in the deadly January 6 attack on the Capitol.

When he agreed to plead guilty, he said he was disappointed that Trump did not pardon him. Four people were killed in the January 6 violence. A police officer who had been attacked by protesters died the next day and four of his colleagues later committed suicide. About 140 police officers were injured.

Chancellor's lawyer Albert Watkins commented that in 2006 the Navy diagnosed his client with a personality disorder but deemed him "fit" to serve.
