US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania were received yesterday at Windsor Tower by Queen Elizabeth.
The 92-year-old queen, dressed in blue, welcomed the presidential couple on a platform set up in the courtyard of the Tower.
After the national anthem was played and the guard was inspected, the American presidential couple had the opportunity to drink tea and talk with the queen for half an hour.
Trump later left for Scotland, where he will spend the weekend before flying to Helsinki to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At the same time, protesters gathered outside Windsor Castle to protest Trump's visit.
"Why do you welcome him to our house?", "Shame on us for inviting him to our house", "How unhappy you made me", "Trump is toxic", "Liar Trump", "Fascist, racist, sexist, liar President" , wrote their banners.
