A cook working at a private dormitory in Antalya, Turkey, killed 18-year-old student Mehmet Tugrul, also a dormitory worker, by beheading him with a machete.
The heinous crime happened the day before yesterday, Tuesday at noon, in the cafeteria of the home of the Science and Culture Association (known as Alimder) in Antalya.
The 38-year-old perpetrator Ihsan Guney after beheading the unfortunate student, put the severed head and the chopper on his dead body and shouted "I shot Dajal".
Police sources told Halk TV that the Alimder Foundation was closely linked to Aziz Mahmut Hüdayi, who is ruled by Erenköy's religious sect.

Mehmet Tugrul was studying computer engineering at Akdeniz University, and at the time of the attack was working with his killer.
One of the students who witnessed the incident called the police. The police arrested the perpetrator, who allegedly had just started his work in the dormitory, and took him to the Antalya police station.
The motives for the murder remain unknown, with authorities imposing a travel ban and confidentiality over the murder case.
The ban was deemed necessary because of "the manner in which the crime was committed, the minimum time since its commission that makes it impossible to gather evidence and therefore the need to protect the rights of the victim."
