In the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Wednesday until 06.00 today), the Cypriot Police carried out 3.236 inspections throughout Cyprus, in order to verify the observance of the measures and the implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infection.

As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE, during the inspections, 14 complaints were made by citizens and 9 people in charge of premises.

In terms of provincial inspections, 1.782 inspections were carried out in Nicosia, without any complaints, 282 inspections were carried out in Limassol, out of which 12 complaints were made by citizens and 6 establishments, in Larnaca, 348 inspections were carried out, out of which 1 citizen complaint was issued. in Paphos 92 inspections were carried out, out of which 1 complaint of a property resulted, in Famagusta 445 inspections were carried out, of which 1 citizen complaint and two properties were reported, in the area of ​​Morfos 115 inspections were carried out, without any complaint.

Also, Pancyprian the Traffic police carried out 156 inspections, without any complaints.

Of the 3.236 audits, 16 concerned Port and Maritime Police, from which no complaint arose.

Answering a question, the representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters said that the majority of complaints to citizens concerned the non-use of a protective mask and in three cases concerned safepass.

Regarding the six premises in Limassol, in the three premises, an inspection revealed that there was no safepass control of customers and an extrajudicial € 1.500 was issued in each premises. The fourth premises concerned a restaurant, in which the manager allowed an employee to work without safepass and an extrajudicial € 1.500 was issued, the fifth premises concerned a supermarket, where there was no safepass customer control and allowed a customer to enter without safepass The sixth estate concerned a company, the manager of which allowed an employee to work without safepass and an out-of-court settlement of € 4.000 was issued.

At Paphos, the premises concerned an Internet Café, which from an inspection showed that it was responsible without a protective mask and without a safe pass, while there were no antiseptics in the Computers, and an out-of-court settlement of € 500 was issued.

At Famagusta, in one premises from inspection it is said that it allowed the entry to a customer without safepass and extrajudicial € 500 was issued, and in the second premises from inspection it seemed that it had no markings at the entrance and extrajudicial € 4.000 was issued.
