Unstable gas mass temporarily affects the area.

Today initially, temporarily increased clouds are expected to give isolated, mostly light, rains on the beaches. During the noon and afternoon hours, clouds that will develop are expected to give local rains and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains and areas north and east of Troodos. The winds will blow mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, initially weak 3 and locally up to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally in the south in the afternoon to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little turbulent and on the leeward coast in the afternoon a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 31 degrees inland and on the southeast coast, around 29 on the rest of the coast and around 23 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight there will be temporarily increased clouds that will later give isolated, mostly light, rains on the west coast. The winds will blow mainly southwest as northwesterly 3 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 18 degrees inland around 21 on the coast and around 11 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Thursday, locally increased clouds are expected to give local rains on the coast in the morning and local rains and isolated thunderstorms at noon and in the afternoon mainly in the mountains, inland areas and in the eastern half of the island.

On Friday, isolated rains are expected in the northeast in the morning and from noon onwards in the southern half of the island. On Saturday the weather will be mostly clear.

The temperature will not change significantly on Thursday, while by Saturday the temperature is expected to gradually rise, to fluctuate close to the average climatic values.
