Rains are coming and a slight drop in temperature in areas of Cyprus

According to the forecast of the Department of Meteorology, on Saturday, light dust may be observed in the atmosphere from time to time, while on Sunday it is not excluded that there will be isolated rain in the mountains and the interior.

The temperature on Saturday will not change appreciably, to remain close to the average climatic values, while a small drop is expected on Sunday.

Today the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly southwest to west, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally in the afternoon on the southern coast, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will initially be calm to a little rough to gradually become a little rough. The temperature will rise to 39 degrees inland, 36 on the northern coast, 30 on the western coast, around 33 on the rest of the coast and 30 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear but at times there will be increased low clouds. Locally, during the morning hours, thin fog or fog is expected to form. The winds will blow mainly south-west to north-west, weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be somewhat rough. The temperature will drop to around 19 degrees in the interior and higher mountains and around 21 degrees on the coast.

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the weather will be mostly clear, but there will be temporary increased clouds.
