Occupied: Local architects react to the construction of a new hospital

The design of all the projects to be implemented in the "country" should be done together with local architects and engineers, states the Chamber of Architects and Engineers in a statement, noting that for the new "public" 500-bed hospital that is planned to done, a tender will be announced abroad.

The press refers to the announcement, to which it is added that the chamber has emphasized in all meetings and in press releases, the importance of acquiring public buildings through architectural competitions.

Despite all the warnings, it is reported, they learned from the statements of the Turkish "ambassador" who visited the "minister of health", that a new "state" hospital with 500 beds will be built and that the project "will start from abroad".

"We see the same attitude and behavior being displayed again and ignoring the institutions of our country and the architects and engineers it has trained."

In the announcement, the "government officials" are reminded that the "laws" of the "tdvc", as the pseudo-state is referred to, are clear and unambiguous. The design of all constructions to be implemented in the "country", it is noted, should be done together with local architects and engineers.

The tr/k chamber characterizes this attitude as unacceptable on the part of the "government", which is consistently followed, adding that once again a mistake was made by ignoring the institutions and the trained technical staff of "our country".
