The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, based on paragraph 2.13 of the Infectious Diseases (Definition of Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19) Decree (No. 28) of 2021 (KDP 286/2021), issues the following guidelines:
"Subject to paragraph 2.48 of the Infectious Diseases (Definition of Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19) Decree (No. 28) of 2021, the drivers of regular passenger transport buses with fare per passenger, buses with E-emergency license, buses used for Closed Door Services and taxi drivers, must, if working, driving or otherwise how , to own -
(a) a valid vaccination certificate for his illness COVID-19, of the Republic of Cyprus, indicating that they have completed their vaccination regimen with any licensed vaccine and a period of 14 days has elapsed since the last dose was administered, or
(b) evidence of release in cases of illness COVID-19 and provided that no more than six months have elapsed from the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis, or
(c) a negative laboratory test or rapid antigen detection test for the disease COVID-19, with the sampling having taken place at least 72 hours before the time they work ".
