Today the weather will initially be mainly cloudy with localized rain and isolated storms possibly accompanied by hail, with the effects soon becoming isolated, mainly in western and northern areas.
From midday onwards, developing clouds are expected to bring isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms again, mainly over the highlands, interior and east. On the highest peaks of Troodos, snow or sleet may fall. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest and initially locally southeast to south, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and gradually on the windward coasts to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will generally be slightly rough to rough. The temperature will rise to around 17 degrees in the interior, around 19 in the southeast and on the eastern coasts, around 18 on the rest of the coasts and around 7 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Saturday, clouds will gradually develop and isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon.
