On Tuesday, OKYpY's proposal to the organization's employee unions regarding the issue of concluding a collective agreement for staff hired with personal contracts is submitted.
As the Minister of Health, Michalis Hatzipantela, stated on Monday, based on the information he received from the Organization, the proposal of OKYpY for the conclusion of a collective agreement will be improved and he hoped that it would be a very good proposal so that the workers' unions would accept it.
The members of the organizations SEK, PEO, DEOK, PASYDY, PASYKI and PASYNO in the public hospitals of OKYPY held a two-hour warning work stop last Tuesday for the non-compliance with the Organization's commitments to conclude a collective agreement for the staff hired with personal contracts.
It is noted that the conclusion of a collective agreement is requested by approximately one thousand employees of OKYPY, who were hired from 2019 with personal contracts.
