Police actions in the tourist area of Ayia Napa between the dates 26/5/23-29/5/23. In the context of the implementation of an action plan by the Famagusta Police Department in the tourist areas of Protaras and Agia Napa, with the aim of more effectively preventing and fighting crime and strengthening the sense of security and protection of citizens, coordinated operations were carried out with the participation of members of the police stations of Paralimni, Agia Napa but also members of OPE, TAE, Famagusta Traffic, Y.KA.N Famagusta, Y.A&M Famagusta as well as members of M.M.A.D. During the operations, controls were carried out in 74 properties and 85 persons were checked.
Members of the OPE of Famagusta and the Paralimni Police Station filed complaints against 9 night-time entertainment centers for violation of the Recreation Centers Law and the Recreation Centers (Sound Broadcasting Licenses) Law.
The coordinated operations of the Famagusta Police Department will continue throughout the tourist season.
