Fluffy towels: Do you want to have tidy towels for your bathroom? Wondering how to achieve this? There is no reason to stress. Below is a list of tricks that will save you. In more detail:

Good shake before washing: Shake your towels vigorously before each wash. This, to "open" the fibers. Thus, they will be deeper when the detergent falls on them.

Less detergent, no emollient: Strictly use the recommended amount or less of detergent when washing. Do not expose towels to insoluble detergent. This is because it will "sit" on the fibers. Avoid emollient completely. Because it leaves residues on towels, hardens them and, gradually, reduces their absorbency.

A few towels in each wash: It is good that the towels, in one wash, are not many. This will help keep the bucket from getting heavy. In addition, they have room to "breathe" so that they drain adequately. Put them in the washing machine with light fabrics (but not perishable, nor clothes with zippers or buttons that can affect their weaving) or alone, but without filling the bucket.

Soda for "softening": When a towel has hardened too much, mix half a cup of baking soda in the detergent for washing and continue with a cup of white vinegar to rinse. The soda will sit where the old detergent and emollient residues are and when the vinegar comes they will remove them drastically and effectively, along with any odors.

A little ammonia for rejuvenation: For bath towels that look worn and ready to be removed, do not rush. Add to the wash, in the fabric softener case, half a cup of ammonia and then dry them properly. Ammonia will effectively dissolve whatever is left on the towel from the weather, detergents or bath and cleaning products, and will dispel any unpleasant odors, making your old towels clean and fluffy again.

Half a cup of white vinegar for leftovers: White vinegar, which is found in many households -usually accompanied by baking soda- and has dozens of uses, is also suitable for our towels. Add half to one cup (depending on the volume of clothes) in the first rinse to remove from your towels any residue left by the detergent and threatens their softness. The result after a few times, will amaze you.

Good drying before picking: Take your towels straight after washing and spread them from the edges to dry evenly everywhere. Do not pick them up before making sure they are completely dry and do not "pat" them on the fold so that they do not crease and retain their volume and softness.
