An incredible – by tennis standards – incident happened in the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Ben Shelton in the tennis tournament in Cincinnati.

As he was about to serve, a woman in the audience made a bee, trying to distract him.

At first, the Greek tennis player heard the sound near him and thought it was indeed a bee - even swinging his racket in an attempt to drive the insect away.

However, shortly afterwards he realized that the sound was coming from a spectator in the stands and complained to the referee about the incident.

In fact, he also went to the stage and started asking who is making the noise with the spectators showing him the "guilty". Then he went to the referee and said: “This thing has never happened before in my career. I know they support the other player. I want him to leave, he has to leave."

Then the American Shelton asked: "What happened, are they talking to you?" and Tsitsipas explained to him: "No, they are doing business."

Finally, after one hour and 43 minutes, Stefanos Tsitsipas prevailed 7-6(3), 7-6(2) against 20-year-old Ben Shelton and advanced to the "16" of Cincinnati.
