"This is how paradise should look like", an expression that definitely fits like a glove in Marathi, the best hidden secret island a breath away from Patmos. Its total area occupies 355 acres, while its coastline reaches just 4 km. A tiny island and a whole beach, just above which develops any tourist activity. Few rooms and two taverns its "potential", a few meters apart, for those who choose Marathi for their summer vacation.

There are no roads here, you will not see cars or shops. Its habitation is due to the Emilianos family, who first came to the island in 1978, and since then with more love and passion managed to turn this deserted land into a real oasis.

Marathi is an ideal choice for those who want to be all day on a beach (the only one on the island) with golden sand and turquoise, crystal clear waters, to enjoy homemade, delicious dishes overlooking the sea and at night to relax (again) in beach. And all this in just a few steps!

The small, colorful and quiet island, its area reaches only 2,5 sq.km. with a maximum length of 3 km is a real paradise on earth. Its permanent residents do not exceed 60-70 during the winter, a number that increases tenfold during the summer season.
