Agia Marina is depicted in full body, floating and in a posture of prayer with scenes from her martyrdom. On the back of the image, it is Saint George of Cappadocia holding a child without the dragon. From the adjective "Cappadocia" it is concluded that the icon must have come to Cyprus from Asia Minor, probably with the return of the then Archbishop of Cyprus in 698 AD.
Filousa Kelokedaron is a very small village with only 12 inhabitants. It is 40 km from Paphos and the same from Limassol. It is one of the first villages of the Diarizos valley while the church of Agia Marina is the oldest in the area. It was built in 1100-1200 and has a slope of 28 points.

The villagers report to ant1iwo:
"The icon of Agia Marina the Miracle Worker is the oldest that has been saved in Cyprus, to which many miracles are attributed. In 2016 the Saint performed 3 miracles. They were 2 girls who could not have a child and Agia helped them. Also, a young man was saved after a big explosion and the whole village that night in the evening, prayed and thanked the Saint ".
