Former US First Lady Michelle Obama does emergency appearance in one of her episodes American comedy series Black-ish.
The news was confirmed by Michelle Obama and the ABC series on their social media accounts. "It is our honor that the pioneer @michelleobama is with us as the next guest star" is mentioned in the series' Instagram account.
A spokesman for the network told CNN that Obama impersonates herself in the episode. "I have long been a fan of @BlackishABC's clever humor and intelligence and It's a great emotion to be in an episodeMichelle Obama added in a post on social media. "I look forward to seeing you all!" The last season of the Black-ish series is set to premiere in early 2022 on ABC.
Michelle Obama is not the first political figure to take part in the series. Stacey Abrams, a former minority leader in the Georgia House of Representatives, lent her voice for a special episode last October, and won an Emmy nomination.
