The singer Dimitris Kokotas remains in critical condition since yesterday afternoon in the Heart Attack Unit of the Gennimatas hospital. The 56-year-old artist, son of the late Stamatis Kokota, suffered a heart attack during a TV shoot for the J2US show.
According to what became known, he felt unwell and informed his colleagues on the set. The development was rapid and very serious. EKAB was called, with the center initially sending a motorcycle and a little later, once the severity of the 55-year-old's condition was assessed by the first rescuers, an ambulance.
Dimitris Kokotas was taken to the Gennimatas hospital where he was on duty, with the doctors in the Emergency department making a huge effort to deal with his condition.
Hospital sources say he suffered a heart attack and a seizure and was discharged. His admission to the Heart Attack Unit was a one-way street, with the doctors stating that this is a very serious incident with an uncertain prognosis. The next 24 hours will be very critical for the patient, a hospital source told protothema.gr, emphasizing his very burdened image.
