The community of Achna was mourned as 27-year-old Christos Siachtouris, who was injured this morning after a car accident on the Achna-Avgorou road, recently lost the battle for his life.
Christos, 27, was injured in the head in a car accident that occurred today at around 3 in the morning, within the boundaries of British Bases in Dhekelia on the Avgorou-Achnas road.
According to the Police, last night the 27-year-old from Dasaki of Achna was driving his car from Dasaki of Achna to Avgorou.
At some point on the road, the young man lost control of his vehicle and overturned in the fields.
Shortly before 3 am today, the British Base Police and the Ambulance Service were informed about the passer-by.
The young man was transported by ambulance to the TAEP of the Larnaca General Hospital where due to the seriousness of his condition he was intubated after suffering head injuries.
Police examinations revealed that the 27-year-old was alone in his car.
The circumstances under which the accident took place are being investigated by the Police of the British Bases of Dhekelia.
