The Cultural Center of occupied Famagusta in Deryneia was visited yesterday, as part of his official visit to Cyprus, by the Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament Ali Abdel-Aal.
There he was guided by the Mayor of Famagusta Alexis Galanos, while he saw from afar the ghost town of Famagusta.

He was informed about the problem of occupation by Mr. Galanos, and then a video was shown for Famagusta.
In his statements, Mr. Galanos expressed his joy and satisfaction that a member of a foreign parliament, namely Egypt, is visiting our country to see the Cyprus problem up close.
He even expressed the belief that Egypt has always been a stable ally, something that, as he said, he will continue to do in the future.
